Michelle Benefico is the founder of Montauk Recruitment Group, where she partners with founders and engineering leaders to build exceptional teams. A technical recruiter at heart, she's spent more than 15 years building engineering organizations across both established technology companies and startups, including Google, Spongecell, Conductor, and Yieldmo. She still loves the part of recruiting that hooked her in the first place: the challenge of finding exceptional talent, writing creative outreach, and getting the best engineers to respond. That's the philosophy behind her approach to building Talent functions and why she believes great recruiting starts with authenticity, curiosity, and genuine relationships.
